ITEM SPECIFICS
Mold Color: Clear.
Durable and Reusable:
Soft, transparent trays allow you to check the bottom while processing your projects, making them easy to demold.
Demolding Tips:
For fondant crafts, add corn flour before crafting.
For chocolate crafts, spray a chocolate release agent, such as release baking spray.
For resin crafts, apply baby oil after the resin has dried.
Food Grade:
Materials used for food and non-food purposes should be kept separate. Wash and boil the molds before use, especially when using them with food.
Some materials, such as clay and fondant paste, may extend slightly when pulled out of the mold.
Temperature Tolerance:
The molds can withstand temperatures ranging from -40°C to 230°C (-40°F to 446°F). They are safe for use in dishwashers, ovens, and refrigerators.
Food safe and BPA, PVC, and phthalate free.
Cavities smaller than 1 cm may not be suitable for chocolate or may require a higher level of technique.
More Tips for Use with Epoxy Resin
Pour the resin into the silicone molds in layers, allowing air bubbles to escape completely.
To facilitate the release of bubbles and the solidification of the resin, the mold can be slightly warmed. For example, heat the oven to 80°C, turn it off, ventilate it briefly, and then place the mold filled with resin inside.
Follow the resin instructions for the required curing time, and make sure to measure and mix the resin properly. A hard texture does not necessarily mean that the resin is fully cured.
Avoid using water-based ink for resin casting.
After baking clay or curing resin in complex or deep molds, release the finished product under running water with soap.
If demolding is difficult, place the mold in the refrigerator for a while, soak it in hot water, or apply baby oil to make removal easier.
Degassing the resin in a vacuum chamber to remove bubbles is recommended but not essential."
